The audit

A fixed-scope audit, start to report

One questionnaire, one call, one written report, one revision. Fixed price, fixed scope, five business days from your completed intake and the call.

Method

  1. Intake

You fill in a short questionnaire: five business tasks that take the most time, the tools you use today, and your rough budget appetite. This is the raw material for everything that follows.

  2. Call

One 20 to 30 minute conversation. We confirm what you wrote, ask about anything unclear, and agree on what "done" looks like for the report.

  3. Report

A written audit: three to five ranked opportunities. Each one is scored on hours saved per month, cost and complexity to automate (low, medium, high), and risk if it goes wrong. The list is ordered by hours saved per unit of effort, and a recommended first step is named.

  4. Revision

One revision round is included, so you can correct an assumption or ask us to look again at a task we scored differently from how you expected.

What you receive

What this is not

This audit does not build the automation. If you decide to build one of the recommendations, that is a separate, clearly scoped project with its own fixed price, and you are free to take the report to any developer. There is no retainer and no open-ended consulting; the engagement ends when the report and the revision are delivered.

A worked example

Sample - fictional data

To show the depth and format of a real audit, we built a sample for an invented business, "Harbor Street Physio." The business, the people, and every number in it are made up to show the shape of the report, not a real client's data.

The sample ranks five automation opportunities for a five-person physiotherapy clinic: one booking inbox, digital intake forms, invoices generated from the calendar, no-show messages, and a weekly owner summary. Each is scored on hours saved per month, cost and complexity, and risk, with a recommended first step.
